About Timo's Guest Book

The original Timo's web site was published in mid-1997. About two years later, we began the monthly drawings for the $50 gift certificate and, to keep track of entries, we created the guest book. If you have ever sent us an entry for the monthly drawing, the information you submitted is in there.

What do we do with this data?

As long as I own and operate this restaurant, it stays in our possession - always. We do not sell it, or loan it or in any way make it available or transfer it to third parties. Nor do we use it to bombard you with dumb promotions or gimmicks or to try to sell you anything.

Since mid-1997, other than to notify winners of the monthly prize, or others who have been awarded unexpected consolation prizes, we have sent two announcements to the entire list - basic math or rocket science, that comes out to less than one message per year. The second one was about the Sunday flamenco dance shows that began in May 2000; that was an invitation to enjoy the free show and enjoy the food and beverage at a discount.

If you ever want to be removed from our emailing list, using the email address you provided on your previous contact, send us a message thru the "Contact Us" page, with the word "Remove" as the subject line.

Presently, if you enter the monthly drawing or use the contact form, this site will recognize you and greet you by name. So, big deal; your next question might be:

So, what's in it for me?

Upon visiting Timo's site, a number from a range containing your record ID will be generated at random; if that number matches your ID, you will automatically win a $45 gift certificate you can use at Timo's and you will be notified right then and there. You will have this chance every day. Presently, chances of winning are 1 in 999 or better (subject to these simple rules below).

All you need to do is either:

• use our contact form to send us a message (the message may be blank), or
• enter the $50 certificate drawing.

If you are already in the book, you will have the opportunity to update your information if necessary.
