April: National Revolting Comedians Month?

Imus: fired, gone, history.

This morning, I got en email from which I quote: "At a campaign stop on Wednesday, Sen. John McCain was asked what to do about Iran. His response? He sang "bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb Iran" to the tune of the Beach Boys' "Barbara Ann." Seriously. He says it was a joke ...."

This brought to mind a little incident I experienced with Dave, one of my former restaurant employees. The guy was a good worker, liked by the customers and his peers including myself, but there was one little difficulty: he had trouble getting to work on time; not a very good thing, since his job was greeting customers at the door as they arrived.

So, one day, I had a little pow-wow with him to discuss the issue. His excuse was "I was abused as a child" – I shit you not - and he said it with a straight face! Because he was otherwise a good member of the team, I did not fire him and he actually corrected the problem soon afterwards.

Mr. McCain reminds me of Dave because he has been milking his six year sojourn at the Hanoi Hilton for years.

As you probably know, you can get arrested for making a joke about "highjack", "bomb", "gun", etc. while you are in line to board an airliner; this is clearly stated on signs posted in the secured pre-boarding area in airports.

So why is McCain still at large? When someone in his position speaks, he/she is heard globally, not just at the departure gate. To those who, referring to Muslims, ask "Why do they hate us so much?", there is part of the answer.

Who is going to fire or arrest this pig-headed sack of shit?

Lorito's Gravatar Yes, McCain is a McPain, but what about the big issue concerning Bush that is not in the Media: Four years in Iraq, with tens of thousands dead and no justification for the initial invasion.

Is this not an impeachable offence, or on an international scale, crimes against humanity?
